We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Motor Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing various types of motor insurance claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely settlements. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements and controlling claim leakage.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and process Final Survey Reports (FSRs) by scrutinizing repair bills and conducting reinspections, ensuring settlements are strictly aligned with policy terms.
- Handle complex motor claims such as total loss, theft, and snatched-vehicle cases, verifying proper documentation and compliance before recommending settlement.
- Identify and control claim leakage by examining claims for unnecessary repair costs, overcharging, duplicate or unsupported charges, irregularities, inconsistencies, and potential fraud indicators. Flag cases that require further investigation.
- Monitor outstanding and aged claims, identifying delays and coordinating with surveyors and workshops to expedite the submission of PLRs and FSRs.
- Maintain professional working relationships with insured parties, brokers, surveyors, workshops, and other external stakeholders to facilitate smooth claim processing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, including automation, digitization, and strategies to reduce claims turnaround time.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Insurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in motor insurance claims, encompassing claims assessment, processing, settlement, coordination with surveyors and workshops, and team supervision.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Possession of a professional insurance qualification is considered an advantage.
- Experience in implementing process improvements and familiarity with digital claims management systems will be beneficial.
