Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL) is seeking a qualified and motivated Deputy Manager specializing in Reservoir Engineering to join their dynamic team. This role involves contributing to the effective management and optimization of reservoir assets, ensuring sustainable and efficient hydrocarbon recovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying advanced reservoir engineering principles and techniques to support the company’s exploration and production activities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize resource value.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed reservoir evaluation and performance analysis to support field development planning and reservoir management strategies.
- Prepare and review reservoir simulation models, material balance calculations, and reserves estimation reports.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate data and optimize reservoir development plans.
- Monitor reservoir performance and recommend appropriate interventions to enhance recovery and production efficiency.
- Participate in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of reservoir surveillance programs, including pressure monitoring, well testing, and data acquisition.
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of new opportunities for reservoir development and enhanced oil recovery techniques.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental standards in all reservoir engineering activities.

Required Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts, including reservoir simulation, material balance, well testing, and reserves estimation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as Eclipse, Petrel, CMG, or similar reservoir simulation and modeling software.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex reservoir data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
