Design and Proposal Engineer

Avanceon is seeking a skilled Design & Proposal Engineer to join its Lahore office and contribute to innovative industrial automation projects, primarily focused on the Middle East region. This role offers an excellent opportunity for engineers passionate about developing technical proposals and delivering turnkey automation solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with international teams, OEMs, and key stakeholders to drive customer-centric solutions and support the company’s growth in complex, high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop technically compliant and cost-effective proposals tailored for the Middle East market.
- Utilize expertise in automation and advanced SCADA systems, managing the full proposal lifecycle including subcontractor and system integration.
- Maintain a strong commercial presence, influencing stakeholders and collaborating with international teams to ensure alignment and timely task completion.
- Enhance sales team effectiveness by supporting technical teams and developing integrated systems and tools.
- Strategize during the pre-sales cycle to identify risks and minimize their impact on project execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OEM ethical standards, and legal requirements in all commercial processes.
- Manage international bids and proposals responsibly, minimizing risks in outgoing submissions.
- Propose turnkey industrial automation solutions and collaborate with global OEMs to track Capex programs and meet user specifications.
- Lead detailed Capex and sales planning related to automation services.
- Analyze key accounts, develop market penetration strategies, and execute tactics to increase market share.
- Diagnose and resolve customer problems by delivering seamless, value-added solutions.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions, and negotiate effectively with customers.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in proposal development, industrial automation, power control, or related fields.
- Background in estimation for electrical, instrumentation, or process control projects.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proven experience in customer interaction and strong business communication skills.
- High commercial awareness and ability to manage stakeholder relationships tactfully.
- Strong analytical skills to support informed decision-making and guide teams toward business objectives.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer support and maximizing satisfaction.
