Design and Proposal Engineer

Avanceon is seeking a skilled Design & Proposal Engineer to join its Lahore office and contribute to innovative solutions in the industrial automation sector. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects focused on the Middle East market, where you will develop technically compliant and cost-effective proposals. You will collaborate with international teams and global OEMs to deliver turnkey automation solutions, supporting the entire proposal lifecycle while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop technically sound and commercially viable proposals tailored for the Middle East region.
- Utilize expertise in automation and SCADA systems to manage the integration of subcontractors and systems within proposals.
- Maintain a strong commercial presence, influencing key stakeholders and working closely with international teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Enhance sales team effectiveness by supporting technical teams and developing integrated tools and systems.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks and alignment with project goals.
- Strategize during the pre-sales cycle to identify risks and minimize their impact on project execution.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, OEM ethical standards, and legal requirements in all commercial processes.
- Manage international bids and proposals with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Propose turnkey industrial automation solutions and collaborate with global OEMs to track Capex programs and meet user specifications.
- Lead the development of detailed Capex and sales plans related to automation solutions and services.
- Analyze key accounts, develop market penetration strategies, and execute tactics to increase market share.
- Diagnose and resolve customer problems by delivering validated, value-driven solutions.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions and negotiate effectively with customers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in proposal development, industrial automation, power control, or related fields.
- Background in estimation for electrical, instrumentation, or process control projects.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated experience in customer interaction and relationship management.
- Strong business writing and communication skills.
- High commercial awareness and the ability to provide excellent customer support.
- Skilled in managing stakeholder relationships tactfully and efficiently.
- Strong analytical abilities to support informed decision-making and guide teams toward business objectives.
