Design & Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, integrate, and implement process control solutions tailored to various industries.
- Develop detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and loop descriptions for plants, processes, and equipment.
- Create clear and concise User Requirement Specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive software and hardware design specifications.
- Design, write, test, implement, and document PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI software to ensure robust control systems.
- Develop and execute control system validation and testing protocols to guarantee system integrity and performance.
- Specify and procure essential process instrumentation, PLCs, DCSs, drives, and other electrical components.
- Draft precise electrical and control panel schematics.
- Prepare detailed scope of supply documents.
- Manage and monitor automation project progress to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of control systems onsite, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
- Provide comprehensive training to operators and engineers on new control systems for effective operation and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 1 to 4 years of practical experience in the industrial automation sector.
- Hands-on knowledge of process manufacturing, field instrumentation, control system installation, and implementation across project phases including:
- Requirements Documentation
- Detailed Design Generation
- Implementation
- System Integration
- Testing
- Onsite Startup
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
