Design Drafter

The Design Drafter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical, engineering, and architectural drawings for renewable energy and related infrastructure projects. This includes developing and revising CAD models and drawings, coordinating with engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements, and updating layouts based on feedback. The role also involves organizing drawing files, maintaining documentation, and supporting tender and project proposals with clear, precise design outputs. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to optimize designs for constructability, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings according to project requirements.
- Develop and revise civil, electrical, structural, and solar drawings.
- Create shop drawings, layout plans, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and as-built drawings.
- Make revisions based on engineering requirements and site conditions.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams on drawing-related matters.
- Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with approved specifications and standards.
- Perform additional drafting tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or DAE in Civil, Electrical, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant drafting experience, preferably in solar, EPC, construction, or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, measurements, and engineering standards.
- Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with project teams.
- Willingness to visit project sites as needed.
