Design Engineer Lead (Mechanical)

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative mechanical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and creating mechanical designs, developing testing processes, and ensuring the validation of new designs. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop mechanical designs for new products, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
- Create and implement testing processes, conducting thorough testing and validation of designs to guarantee performance standards.
- Perform engineering calculations to support design decisions and optimize product functionality.
- Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle to track development progress and design changes.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills and sound reasoning ability.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of six years’ experience as a Design Engineer is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is the preferred educational qualification.
