§ Assist the Chief Financial Officer in the daily banking requirements such as Projected Accounts, Projected Cash flows for bank purpose.
§ Ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions.
§ Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
§ Supports budget and forecasting activities.
§ Collaborates with the finance department manager to support overall department goals and objectives.
§ Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
§ Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
§ Responds to inquiries from the Director, Chief Financial Officer, and other organization wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
§ Work with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
§ Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
§ Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
§ Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
§ Support Chief Financial Officer with special projects and workflow process improvements.
§ Act as administrator of ERP software and suggest improvements/changes including but not limited to:
ü User Management
ü Report addition/deletion
ü Format changing
ü Ensuring proper operations of all related modules.
ü Supervising data entry into the ERP.
§ Ensuring timely receipt of data from sites (for assigned projects) to head office and guiding head office accounts staff for correctly recording in respective heads of accounts.
§ Major party balance reconciliations such as Attock Petroleum etc.
§ Monitoring cash utilization on site as per demand.
§ Guiding and supervising project site accountants for updating their cash books, inventory ledgers and GLs
