We are looking for a highly experienced Design & Estimation Manager specializing in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel construction to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will oversee the design and estimation functions for industrial and commercial steel projects, ensuring accuracy in structural design, quantity take-offs, costing, and preparation of technical proposals. Immediate joining or within one month is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Design & Estimation Department focused on PEB and structural steel projects.
- Prepare, review, and validate structural designs, drawings, calculations, and technical proposals.
- Conduct precise quantity take-offs, material take-offs (MTO), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates.
- Develop competitive and technically sound project quotations and proposals.
- Review project specifications, architectural and structural drawings, and tender documents thoroughly.
- Coordinate effectively with Sales, Projects, Procurement, Production, and Erection teams to ensure project alignment.
- Evaluate steel quantities, material requirements, fabrication needs, and overall project costs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable PEB, AISC, MBMA, and other relevant engineering standards.
- Optimize designs to balance cost efficiency with structural integrity.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, consultants, and clients on both technical and commercial matters.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the design and estimation team to maintain high performance.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate estimates and technical proposals to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- PEC registration as a Civil/Structural Engineer is preferred or required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in PEB, structural steel, or pre-engineered construction projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise in structural design and estimation of steel buildings.
- Experience working on industrial, commercial, warehouse, factory, and other steel structure projects.

Software Skills
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, Metal Building Software (MBS), AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, and SAP2000.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and other estimation and costing tools.

Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of structural steel and PEB systems.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in estimation, costing, and quantity take-offs.
- Vendor and supplier negotiation experience.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict project and tender deadlines.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
