Design Intern

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Design Intern to join our Design & Product Development team at a leading women's fashion textile and clothing brand based in Karachi. This full-time internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of fashion design, including textile development, garment construction, and collection planning. The intern will collaborate closely with the design team to support the creation of seasonal collections and develop a deeper understanding of the fashion industry’s workflow.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of seasonal fashion collections by contributing creative ideas and technical support.
- Conduct research on current fashion and textile trends and help translate these insights into commercially viable design concepts.
- Create mood boards, design presentations, and concept sketches to support the design process.
- Utilize design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to produce digital artwork and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure design consistency and quality throughout the product development cycle.
- Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and contribute to problem-solving within the design team.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field, either completed or currently in progress.
- Strong awareness of contemporary fashion and textile trends with the ability to apply this knowledge creatively.
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant design software.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for developing skills in a professional design environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
