Blue Arc is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering professional to join as the Design & Project Coordination Manager based in Lahore, Pakistan. This role requires leading the Design and Construction Coordination teams, overseeing two coordinators and their respective teams, and managing a portfolio of 40 to 60 ongoing projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are executed on time, resolve escalated technical and operational issues, and provide regular updates directly to the CEO. This position demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Design and Construction Coordination teams through their coordinators, ensuring smooth workflow and accountability.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of all ongoing projects, including deadlines, progress, and outstanding tasks.
- Proactively identify potential delays, bottlenecks, and risks to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor the performance of coordinators and hold them accountable for project milestones and quality standards.
- Coordinate design, structural, civil, and MEP-related activities with relevant internal teams and external partners.
- Independently resolve escalated technical, operational, and client-related issues to maintain project momentum.
- Communicate effectively with clients when necessary to address concerns and resolve conflicts.
- Develop and implement efficient project tracking, reporting, and documentation systems.
- Provide consistent project status updates and detailed reports directly to the CEO.
- Facilitate effective coordination between design teams, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, project management, or design coordination.
- Proven experience managing teams and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of building design, construction processes, structural systems, and MEP coordination.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective client communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project tracking, scheduling, reporting, and documentation tools.
- Ability to oversee 40 to 60 projects with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability and control.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The ideal candidate is a technically proficient and mature professional who can maintain a strategic overview of all projects, ensure coordinators are held accountable, resolve issues independently, and provide the CEO with clear insights into departmental performance. This role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 100,000 to PKR 200,000 and requires working on-site in Lahore.
