Interior Designer

Desire Homes Store is seeking a skilled Interior Designer with at least three to four years of professional experience to join and lead a dynamic team of eight professionals. This role focuses on creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces through expert space planning, material selection, and furniture layout. The candidate must smoothly handle projects from inception through completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to schedules. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and the design team. The Interior Designer will leverage expertise in AutoCAD, 3D rendering, and sustainable design practices to develop architectural designs that meet both client requirements and regulatory standards. The role demands excellent project management and scheduling capabilities to oversee all phases of design and implementation, ensuring quality and timely delivery. The candidate will champion innovative solutions and contemporary design trends while maintaining high standards of professionalism and creativity.
Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a team of eight design professionals to deliver interior projects effectively and efficiently.
Develop and present design concepts, including detailed space plans and furniture layouts, to clients for approval.
Create precise 2D AutoCAD drafts and detailed 3D renderings to communicate design ideas clearly.
Manage project timelines and schedules to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Select appropriate materials and finishes considering functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and client preferences.
Oversee architectural and interior design development in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to understand their needs and convey project progress.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to solve design challenges and ensure quality execution.
Implement sustainable design principles to create environmentally friendly and energy-efficient interiors.
Monitor project progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure smooth project delivery from concept to completion.
Document all design processes, decisions, and client interactions for project records and future reference.
Continuously research and integrate current industry trends and new design technologies.
