Devcodex is seeking a skilled Front End Developer specializing in Wordpress and Shopify platforms with strong expertise in UI and UX design. This role requires at least two years of experience in creating responsive, user-friendly web interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, alongside hands-on experience in WordPress theme development and Shopify Liquid. This position involves collaborating closely with designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of web applications. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it demands a high level of independence, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement responsive front-end web applications predominantly on Wordpress and Shopify platforms.
- Translate UI/UX design mockups from design tools like Figma into clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Build and customize WordPress themes and Shopify templates using WordPress Theme Development and Shopify Liquid.
- Write well-structured, maintainable HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript code to ensure excellent user experience across devices and browsers.
- Implement interactive web components using JavaScript frameworks such as React to enhance functionality and user engagement.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining responsive design principles.
- Conduct cross-browser and device compatibility testing and debugging to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Follow web accessibility standards and best practices to create inclusive user interfaces.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of front-end development trends, tools, and technologies and share insights with the team.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and version control practices.
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide technical input and progress updates.
