Developer III - Software Engineering

With 3 to 5 years of experience, this Hyderabad-based role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in designing, configuring, and building solutions using Powercurve Originations (PCO). The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, collaborating with product consultants and analysts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs. This position plays a crucial role in bridging communication between business units, technical teams, and support functions while actively contributing to project planning, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Consultants and Product Analysts to gather and understand business requirements and functional specifications. Take ownership of low-level design (LLD), configuration, and the final solution build. Elicit detailed requirements through various techniques such as Q&A sessions, document analysis, workshops, and business process reviews.

Proactively communicate and work with both internal and external teams to analyze information needs and functional requirements, delivering necessary documentation and artifacts. Partner with technical consultants, solution analysts, and subject matter experts to define the technical vision and evaluate trade-offs between usability and performance.

Develop solutions alongside Solution Analysts, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Assist in quality assurance activities, including testing and debugging, to maintain solution integrity. Identify, track, report, and resolve issues promptly while proactively managing potential risks to project timelines.

Work closely with Project Managers, Product Consultants, Product Analysts, and Test Leads to identify changes, communicate updates to the build team, and conduct impact assessments. Serve as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and support functions to ensure smooth communication and project execution.

Deliver clear, well-organized presentations to stakeholders. Support planning and scoping of initiatives in line with project timelines. Lead the build phase, ensuring solutions are developed according to client requirements. Continuously review solution efficiency and drive improvements in solution quality and development methodologies.

Enforce development best practices and cultivate expertise in product, technical, industry, and process knowledge relevant to the product area. Collaborate with the product development team to address and close product feature gaps. Identify critical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize impact on project delivery. Support project managers in workload assessment, planning, and organization to meet project commitments.

Required Qualifications

3 to 5 years of professional experience with strong expertise in Powercurve Originations (PCO). Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Experience in low-level design, configuration, and solution building.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Familiarity with quality assurance processes including testing and debugging. Ability to deliver presentations and engage stakeholders effectively. Knowledge of project planning and workload management.
