JiBe is a cloud-based, fully integrated ERP system designed specifically for the shipping industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Development Team Lead (Software Engineering) to join our dynamic and growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with product management and other stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable and maintainable software solutions within the JiBe ERP platform.
- Oversee code reviews, enforce best practices, and promote continuous improvement in software development processes.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the team meets deadlines and maintains high standards of code quality.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to help team members reach their full potential.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure JiBe remains at the forefront of software innovation in the shipping sector.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within software development teams, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Expertise in relevant programming languages and frameworks used in JiBe’s technology stack.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience implementing Agile practices within development teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
