DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous delivery and deployment of software within an agile team environment. You will collaborate closely with both development and operations teams to automate and optimize build, test, and deployment workflows. Your efforts will help deliver software quickly, reliably, and efficiently to end users while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand software requirements and design, and develop effective delivery plans.
- Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
- Monitor software health and performance in production environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues or incidents.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support development and operations teams by troubleshooting and resolving challenges encountered during the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide regular status and performance reports on production software to stakeholders.
- Continuously update your skills and knowledge by staying informed about the latest DevOps tools, techniques, and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Expertise in configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
- Understanding of DevOps culture and Agile methodologies.
