Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and deployment of advanced cloud-native infrastructure and automation solutions. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines tailored for high-scale, distributed systems. Manage production environments with a strong focus on performance, resilience, and scalability. Design and implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks to ensure system reliability. Take charge of incident response and conduct thorough post-mortem analyses while mentoring junior engineers in effective troubleshooting techniques. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, security, and product—to align DevOps strategies with overall business objectives. Drive initiatives around cloud infrastructure cost optimization and usage analysis. Establish and enforce security and compliance standards, preparing the organization for audits such as SOC 2. Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools and best practices to enhance the DevOps ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including advanced configurations of EC2, RDS, KMS, VPC, and IAM policies. Strong expertise in infrastructure as code, with a preference for Terraform. Proven track record in CI/CD automation and release engineering best practices. Experience leading large-scale DevOps projects or initiatives. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or Bash. Solid background in incident management, root cause analysis, and designing self-healing systems. Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks relevant to cloud infrastructure.
