We are a U.S.-based software development company specializing in creating web and mobile applications for clients across various industries. We are looking for a reliable and proactive DevOps Engineer to manage our cloud infrastructure, monitor server health, and ensure our production environments remain secure, stable, and highly available. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with adaptable hours, providing an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world software projects.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, configure, and maintain Linux-based cloud servers to ensure optimal performance. Monitor server health, uptime, resource utilization, and overall system performance. Manage deployments for web applications and APIs, ensuring smooth and timely releases. Configure web servers such as Nginx and Apache, including SSL certificate installation and management. Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes efficiently. Perform regular server updates, backups, and implement disaster recovery procedures. Troubleshoot server, networking, and application issues promptly to minimize downtime. Monitor logs and resolve production incidents quickly and effectively. Implement security best practices, including firewall configurations and access controls, to protect infrastructure. Optimize server performance while managing infrastructure costs effectively. Collaborate closely with software developers to support application releases and infrastructure needs. Document infrastructure setups and deployment procedures clearly and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Infrastructure roles is essential. Strong expertise in Linux server administration is required. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Azure, or similar providers. Proficiency in configuring and managing Nginx and/or Apache web servers. Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployment strategies is necessary. Experience working with Git and deployment workflows. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation processes. Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, SSL, firewalls, and security protocols. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with the team.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Kubernetes is a valuable plus. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Uptime Kuma is advantageous. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible is preferred. Experience managing multiple production environments will be beneficial.

Monthly compensation ranges from Rs45,000 to Rs65,000. The role is fully remote with a flexible schedule to accommodate different time zones and work preferences.
