DevOps Engineer

Code District is a prominent software development company specializing in delivering advanced solutions to startups, growing businesses, and large enterprises. The company emphasizes driving growth through digital transformation and innovative marketing strategies. This role is based fully on-site at the Gulberg location in Lahore, with working hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and EKS.
- Work with Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Virtual Networks, and AKS.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation, with knowledge of ARM or Bicep considered an advantage.
- Oversee containerization using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, specifically EKS and AKS.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD and GitOps methodologies.
- Monitor system performance and health using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Ensure the security and reliability of cloud environments while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services is essential; exposure to Azure cloud services is preferred.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation; familiarity with ARM templates or Bicep is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, with experience managing EKS or AKS clusters.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI/CD.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and operational tasks.
