DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking experienced and technically skilled DevOps Engineers to join our team in Lahore. The successful candidates will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing DevOps and cloud infrastructure initiatives. Ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containerization, automation, monitoring, distributed systems, and practical knowledge of Apigee or similar API Gateway platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or equivalent technologies.
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work extensively with Docker, Kubernetes, and multi-cluster environments to support container orchestration.
- Implement and manage Kafka-based solutions for real-time data streaming and distributed messaging.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and observability tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, deployment, and distributed system issues.
- Manage API deployment, configuration, security, and integration using Apigee or similar API Gateway technologies.
- Lead the adoption of DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance delivery, reliability, and system performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, API management, automation, and observability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, or API Management domains.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents.
- Practical knowledge of Kafka, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with Apigee or a similar API Gateway platform is required or highly preferred.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
