DevOps Instructor

Edversity, a division of the Rapidev Group of Companies based in Lahore, offers practical and industry-focused IT training aimed at preparing young individuals for careers and freelancing opportunities in technology. We are currently seeking a dedicated DevOps Instructor to join our full-time, onsite team. In this role, you will guide trainees through the fundamentals of modern software development, deployment, and cloud operations. Your instruction will cover everything from Linux basics to deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines, helping beginners gain the skills necessary to succeed in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily lectures and hands-on lab sessions following the approved curriculum.
- Simplify complex DevOps concepts for trainees with little or no prior experience.
- Develop lesson plans, presentation slides, lab guides, assignments, and quizzes.
- Set up and maintain lab environments, including cloud sandbox accounts and practice repositories.
- Supervise trainee projects and oversee the final capstone assignments.
- Monitor attendance, assess trainee progress, and submit regular reports to the program team.
- Conduct additional support sessions for trainees who require extra help.
- Provide guidance on professional certifications, CV preparation, and job application processes.
- Assist with assessments, audits, and program reviews to ensure quality and compliance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud computing, or system administration.
- Proficiency with Linux, Bash scripting, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one CI/CD tool.
- Practical experience working with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, along with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts in both English and Urdu.
- Patience and a genuine passion for teaching beginners and helping them build confidence.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
