DevOps Instructor

Edversity, a part of the Rapidev Group of Companies based in Lahore, is seeking a dedicated DevOps Instructor for a full-time, onsite role. Edversity specializes in delivering practical, industry-focused IT training through physical classes aimed at equipping young individuals with the skills needed for technology jobs and freelancing. In this role, you will guide trainees through the fundamentals of modern software development, deployment, and cloud operations. Your teaching will cover everything from Linux basics to deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines, helping beginners build confidence and competence in DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily lectures and hands-on lab sessions following the approved curriculum.
- Simplify complex DevOps concepts for trainees with little or no prior experience.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, presentation slides, lab guides, assignments, and quizzes.
- Set up and maintain lab environments, including physical machines, cloud sandbox accounts, and practice repositories.
- Supervise trainee projects and oversee the final capstone assignments.
- Monitor attendance, assess trainee progress, and submit regular reports to the program management team.
- Conduct additional support sessions for trainees who need extra help.
- Provide guidance on certifications, resume building, and job application processes.
- Assist with assessments, audits, and program reviews to ensure quality and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud computing, or system administration.
- Practical skills with Linux, Bash scripting, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one CI/CD tool.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly in both English and Urdu.
- Patience and a genuine passion for teaching beginners and helping them grow.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
