Key Responsibilities

Lead DevOps Team and Drive Technical Solutions:
- Lead the DevOps team to enhance collaboration among operations, development, and testing by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes.
- Design and define the overall DevOps architecture and framework tailored to project or module delivery requirements.
- Select appropriate DevOps tools and platforms aligned with client needs and develop deployment models for validation, testing, and performance monitoring.
- Define and manage IT infrastructure to support software code requirements effectively.
- Oversee the entire DevOps pipeline, covering planning, coding, building, testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring stages.
- Collaborate with the team to develop coding and scripting solutions that integrate software releases with operating systems and production infrastructure, minimizing disruptions.
- Manage application onboarding from configuration through to release.
- Integrate security measures throughout the DevOps lifecycle to mitigate cyber risks and ensure data privacy.

Customer Support and Service Management:
- Provide timely support for internal and external customer escalations across multiple platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues related to DevOps tool implementation within projects or modules.
- Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents or critical issues impacting project timelines, quality, or costs.
- Develop alternative solutions based on root cause findings and follow escalation protocols when necessary.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer, share best practices, and motivate the team.

Team Management:
- Forecast talent needs based on current and future business demands and lead recruitment efforts to onboard suitable resources.
- Train hiring managers to make informed recruitment and selection decisions.
- Ensure full compliance with Wipro’s onboarding and training standards to enhance team capabilities and effectiveness.
- Identify and nurture high-potential talent for career progression and promote diversity in leadership roles.
- Set clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues decisively.
- Encourage participation in organizational development programs to foster continuous learning.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, monitor satisfaction scores, and implement strategies to improve team morale.
- Recognize and appreciate employee contributions while challenging the team with meaningful projects.

Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in DevOps leadership and technical roles.
- Strong expertise in continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes.
- Proven ability to design and implement DevOps frameworks and manage toolchains effectively.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to DevOps tools and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated skills in team leadership, talent management, and performance management.
- Familiarity with security integration throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
- Proficiency with tools such as Toad Data Modeler is mandatory.
