Key Responsibilities

Lead DevOps Team and Drive Technical Solutions:
- Design and define the overall DevOps architecture and framework tailored to project or module delivery based on client requirements.
- Select and deploy appropriate DevOps tools and platforms aligned with customer needs.
- Develop tool deployment models for validation, testing, and performance monitoring, ensuring resource alignment.
- Define and manage IT infrastructure to support software code requirements effectively.
- Oversee the DevOps pipeline covering planning, coding, building, testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring stages.
- Collaborate with the team to develop coding and scripting that integrates software releases with operating systems and production infrastructure, minimizing disruptions.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of application configurations from planning through release.
- Integrate security practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle to mitigate cyber risks and maintain data privacy.

Customer Support and Service on DevOps Tools:
- Provide timely support for internal and external customer escalations across multiple platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues arising from DevOps tool implementations within projects or modules.
- Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents or critical issues impacting project timelines, quality, or cost.
- Develop and implement alternative solutions based on root cause findings.
- Follow escalation protocols when resolutions become complex or unresolved.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer, share best practices, and motivate the team.

Team Management:
- Resourcing: Forecast talent needs, hire suitable candidates, and guide recruitment and selection decisions.
- Talent Management: Ensure full compliance with onboarding and training standards to enhance team capabilities. Build a high-potential talent pool and promote diversity in leadership roles.
- Performance Management: Set clear goals, conduct timely reviews and appraisals, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues decisively. Encourage utilization of organizational programs like Performance Nxt.
- Employee Satisfaction and Engagement: Lead engagement initiatives, monitor satisfaction scores, and implement strategies to improve team morale. Challenge the team with meaningful projects and recognize employee contributions.

Deliverables and Performance Metrics:
- Achieve 100% error-free onboarding and implementation of continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Manage service tools effectively to ensure high customer satisfaction (CSAT) and efficient query resolution.
- Foster team capability development, focusing on new-age skills, maintaining low attrition rates, and achieving high employee satisfaction scores.

Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps operations, with a strong focus on AWS DevOps.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing DevOps pipelines and infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and incident management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Knowledge of integrating security practices within the DevOps lifecycle.
