DevOps-Onsite-Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. This full-time, onsite role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production environments. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, along with expertise in CI/CD pipelines, server administration, containerization, and deployment management. Working closely with development teams, you will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient application delivery across multiple environments. The working hours are Sunday to Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Digital Ocean.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
- Administer and support both Windows and Linux servers.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Configure and manage DNS, firewalls, load balancers, SSL certificates, IP management, and access controls.
- Support monitoring, logging, backup, and basic disaster recovery processes.
- Manage Development, Staging, UAT, and Production environments effectively.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and cloud-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with development teams on release management and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations.
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and deployment management.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers.
- Proficient in Docker and containerization technologies.
- Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with DNS, firewalls, load balancers, SSL certificates, IP management, and access control.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Ability to manage multiple environments including Development, Staging, UAT, and Production.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar automation tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level or financial applications is a plus.
