The ideal candidate for this listing is a highly resourceful and innovative designer with extensive knowledge in the layout, aesthetics, and usability aspect of WebApps on both the desktop and mobile ends.
This field also requires a high degree of empathy as well as creativity and strong communication skills.
The individual must also possess a strong knowledge of the design process from ideation to implementation.
Responsibilities & Requirements
• Creating wireframes using a range of tools (Adobe XD, Figma, proto.io, or equivalent) in order to be able to express abstract visions into potentially actionable skeletons
• Communicating with stakeholders - from carrying user research to being able to understand and ideate visions effectively
• Design & empathetical thinking from creating user personas to user requirements as well as creating and testing assumptions
• Working cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications
• To constantly be researching new trends within both the UI and UX industries and presenting them accordingly
• Extracting insights and identifying pain-points by using analytical tools (google analytics, or equivalent)
• Strong English grammar and communication skills to be able to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Aesthetic taste in design while keeping in mind usability - able to create designs that look aesthetically pleasing and simultaneously intuitive, making the app an overall joy to use
• Ability to work independently as well as with the team - the ability to self-motivate and to self-manage tasks that may at times be abstract while also being able to function as part of the team as and when required
• A constant learner committed to life-long learning and not afraid to learn new skills and adapt as and when required by the start-up
• Attention to detail - the ability to focus on the small things that make a big difference.
