Dgtx Tax Consultancy is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and standards. This role requires strong proficiency in bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable management, and a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Attention to detail and analytical skills are essential to perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting activities effectively.
The Accountant will collaborate closely with other finance professionals to manage day-to-day transactions and assist in tax compliance processes. Although this position does not involve team management responsibilities, it plays a crucial role in supporting the companys financial health through accurate data management and timely reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to the financial integrity and success of Dgtx Tax Consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers and journals.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and support financial decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and assist with tax filings as required.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies to maintain integrity of financial data.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with other departments to collect and consolidate financial information for reporting.
- Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency in accounting procedures.
