Diamond Oil & Feeds is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator with at least three years of experience to support the accuracy and integrity of our data management processes. This role focuses on efficient and precise data entry, data cleaning, and validation using various software tools. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and quality assurance standards.
This position does not include team management responsibilities but requires strong independent work habits and the ability to handle sensitive financial and operational information. Experience with accounting or ERP software, knowledge of tax-related entries, and proficiency with AI tools for data-related tasks will enhance performance in this role. Candidates should be open to occasional extended hours during critical reporting periods such as month-end closing.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry across multiple platforms including Excel, Google Sheets, and dedicated data entry software.
- Clean, validate, and verify data to ensure completeness and correctness, applying quality assurance techniques consistently.
- Utilize data management software to store and manage large datasets securely, ensuring confidentiality, especially regarding financial data.
- Reconcile discrepancies in data and financial records through thorough review and coordinate necessary adjustments in the system.
- Apply basic knowledge of GST, sales tax invoices, and withholding tax entries to support accurate financial data processing.
- Demonstrate use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to automate data cleaning, error identification, and report drafting activities.
- Maintain inventory data related to feed production stock, ensuring current and accurate records for operational purposes.
- Collaborate with accounting and administrative teams to enhance data entry processes and provide support during month-end closing periods.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining high levels of data privacy and security at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain a high volume of data tasks without compromising accuracy.
