Located in the Landhi Industrial Area of Karachi, this role involves operating diaper production machinery on a rotational 12-hour shift basis, covering both day and night shifts. The primary objective is to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the diaper production machine, maximizing output while minimizing downtime. The operator will maintain strict adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate the diaper production machine in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Set machine parameters and continuously monitor performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage machine start-up, changeovers, and shutdown procedures efficiently.
- Meet daily production targets while minimizing material waste.
- Oversee various stages of production including raw material feeding, pad formation, TBS, ADL, NW application, side tape and frontal tape application, final folding, and stacking.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine faults promptly, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
- Report any quality deviations or defects to the Quality Control (QC) Department.
- Maintain accurate shift reports and production logs, documenting downtime, maintenance activities, and material usage.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean and organized.
- Supervise and provide guidance to 2nd Operators and Helpers during shifts.
- Facilitate smooth shift handovers by communicating all relevant information clearly.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Machine Operator in a hygiene product manufacturing environment, preferably within the diaper industry.

Preferred Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of diaper machine operations.
- Ability to interpret basic machine drawings and operational instructions.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and handle shift responsibilities efficiently.
