DigitalNet Technology Solutions is looking for a proven Art Director who needs to be creative and visionary for exciting projects bringing new genres of mobile games to a mainstream audience. The Art Director that manages art work for games, animations, music videos, short clips and also manage story board and time frame for projects.
Job Requirements:
Managing the art team towards the execution of the vision while considering the production, design and technical limitations inherent in the project.
Establishing and communicating the artistic vision of the project to the art staff.
Supervise and support a team of artists with clear and consistent direction.
Foster communication between art and all departments to execute the project’s vision.
Set product vision, maintain high standards regarding aesthetic and technical aspects of art content.
Work with Lead Designer to establish project’s vision and flow of the games.
Managing the schedules of concepts, animation, environments, character modeling, character setup, UI, and FX for the project at hand.
Helping in hiring necessary art staff, and also training and career direction for them.
At least 3-5 years of experience working in gaming studio.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of art production experience (Masters in Fine Arts preferred).
Demonstrated experience in teaching technical and traditional art processes and mentoring artists.
Must have completed one full production cycle on a game art from beginning to end.
Ability to solve problems in collaboration with the larger game team including other artists, art leads, game designers and developers.
Good communication skills with positive and professional attitude.
