Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting services.
- Prepare financial statements, VAT returns, and other compliance reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax returns, including Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and supporting documents for audits.
- Offer proactive advice on financial performance and strategies for tax optimization.
- Review and manage bookkeeping for clients.
- Liaise with clients to address queries and provide accounting and tax advice.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- ACCA Qualified Accountant (must have completed all exams).
- At least 3 years of experience working within a UK-based accounting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong experience with VAT and corporation tax returns.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients.
- Outstanding communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
