Dinara is a Pakistani small business established in March 2021. Our brand designs and produces modest western wear. We are currently looking to expand our team as we aim to expand production and meet growth targets.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research around emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes
- Create moodboards, plan and develop ranges, often based on a theme
- Create or visualize an idea and produce a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD)
- Present designs to management and alter according to feedback
- Understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs
- Visit markets to source, select and buy fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments for finalized designs
- Negotiate prices with vendors in accordance with collection budgets
- Creating technical packs to clearly communicate the design to the manufacturing unit.
- Reviewing sample pieces for style and fit.
- Oversee production to ensure the final product is in accordance with brand standards.
