We are looking for a detail-oriented Direct Tax Accountant to join our team located in Gulberg 3. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements that comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE Corporate Tax laws. This role involves managing corporate tax compliance, supporting tax assessments, and ensuring all accounting activities adhere to relevant legal and regulatory standards. The position requires a strong grasp of accounting principles and tax regulations, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. This is a full-time, in-office role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE Corporate Tax legislation.
- Manage corporate tax compliance, including tax computations, filing returns, and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Apply practical knowledge of IFRS to accounting and reporting tasks.
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of taxation laws and compliance requirements.
- Review accounting records to ensure alignment with tax regulations.
- Assist in tax assessments by performing reconciliations and preparing supporting schedules and reports.
- Experience in an audit or accounting firm environment will be considered an advantage.
Required Qualifications:
- ACCA Affiliate or CA Finalist status.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or tax-related roles.
