An experienced professional is sought to lead a prominent educational institute based in Islamabad, providing strategic direction and visionary leadership. This role involves aligning the institute’s goals with national education priorities and global trends, driving institutional reforms, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advising the government on education policies and sector planning, while building strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders to enhance Pakistan’s education sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction in line with national education priorities and emerging global trends.
- Lead the development and execution of the institute’s strategic plans, policies, systems, and institutional reforms.
- Oversee education research, policy analysis, national assessments, data systems, and knowledge products to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Advise the Government on education policy, sector planning, learning outcomes, and reform initiatives.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, accountability, and high performance throughout the institute.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with federal and provincial governments, academia, development partners, civil society, and the private sector.
- Ensure effective governance, resource management, performance monitoring, and compliance with relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
- Represent the institute at national and international forums, promoting collaboration to strengthen Pakistan’s education sector.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Federal Government or the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Management, Public Policy, Administrative Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized national or international university, with at least 7 years of professional experience; OR
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Management, Public Policy, Administrative Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized national or international university, with at least 9 years of professional experience.

Additional Information:
- Selection will be merit-based without domicile quota restrictions.
- The position is open to both male and female candidates.
- Job location and test city are Islamabad.
- Maximum age limit for applicants is 62 years.
