The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), a government body responsible for regulating and managing the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Pakistan, is inviting applications for the position of Director General (Regional Office). The role is open for candidates based in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), or any location within Pakistan. This is a deputation-based appointment at the BPS-20 pay scale, with two vacancies available. Candidates from all genders between the ages of 18 and 55 are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a minimum of 17 years of relevant post-qualification experience, and any educational qualification will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing administration, management, and financial operations, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and financial oversight. They will manage project planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination, and evaluation of various projects and programs. The role also requires strong organizational management skills, including coordination and handling of administrative and operational functions. Preparing briefs, summaries, reports, and other official documents will be a key part of the job. Preference will be given to those with experience in the Education or TVET sector.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must be regular government officers currently serving in BPS-19 or BPS-20 or equivalent positions, with a minimum of 17 years of post-qualification experience. Eligible applicants include officers from all occupational groups, federal and provincial ex-cadre officers (preferably from Secretariat, Directorates, Audit, and Accounts), and provincial management/service/ex-cadre officers. The position is strictly open to regular public or civil servants working in federal or provincial government organizations or autonomous bodies in the same pay scale. Contract, project-based, or tenure-track employees are not eligible.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in the Education or TVET sector will be considered an advantage. NAVTTC offers a dynamic work environment within a key government commission under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. Selected candidates will be required to join NAVTTC headquarters in Islamabad but may be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
