The Director role at Web7Labs is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This leadership position involves managing cross-functional teams to successfully deliver complex software, AI, and digital product initiatives. The Director will oversee project planning and execution, ensuring alignment between technical roadmaps and business objectives. Key responsibilities include mentoring team leads, managing resources and budgets, reviewing critical technical and product decisions, and maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders. The role also requires setting performance goals, refining operational processes, identifying growth opportunities, and driving continuous improvement across engineering, product, and design functions. Collaboration on strategic partnerships, supporting business development efforts, and contributing to the company’s long-term vision and culture are also essential aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and design to deliver high-quality, scalable software and AI solutions.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure timely and successful delivery of initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience leading software and product development teams, including project management, stakeholder communication, and strategic planning.
- Strong background in custom software development, web and mobile applications, and SaaS platforms with familiarity in modern development frameworks and best practices.
- Solid understanding of AI integrations, automation systems, and cloud/backend architectures, with the ability to guide technical direction and evaluate solution approaches.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience collaborating effectively with design teams to ensure user-centered product development.
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams while fostering collaboration and inclusivity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills focused on delivering measurable business outcomes and scalable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Prior leadership experience in a tech startup, software agency, or digital product company; experience in client-facing roles is highly beneficial.
