Director of Academic Records and Compliance - TJ / 1880774

Riphah International University in Islamabad is seeking a Director of Academic Records and Compliance to lead its academic records and regulatory compliance functions. This senior leadership role involves managing the Student Information System, overseeing student registration, examination management, and conducting academic audits. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in higher education, supporting the university’s mission to provide quality education and maintain excellent academic rankings. The Director will work closely with academic departments and administrative units to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) regulations. This position also requires strategic planning, policy development, and quality assurance to enhance the university’s standing at both national and international levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all student registration, academic records, and examination processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with HEC guidelines and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Manage academic calendars, convocations, and the certification of degrees.
- Collaborate with Deans, Directors, and Academic Heads to support curriculum implementation and academic policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Registrar’s Office staff to maintain high performance and encourage professional growth.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Education Administration or Management; a PhD is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the higher education sector.
- At least 5 years of experience serving as a Registrar in an HEC-recognized university or institution is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Expertise

- Knowledge of academic audits, institutional performance evaluation, and QS ranking standards will be considered an advantage.
