Dispatch Officer

We are seeking a Dispatch Officer to join the Operations Department at Scents n Stories. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience and will be responsible for overseeing the entire dispatch process to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves managing the packaging and shipping of perfumes and related products, coordinating with various departments, and supervising the dispatch team to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the dispatch process from order receipt through to packaging and shipment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure all customer requirements are met and that orders are fulfilled on schedule.
- Supervise and motivate a team involved in packing and shipping, providing training and support as needed.
- Coordinate closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels.
- Monitor dispatch operations to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of products.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of the dispatch team, offering feedback and coaching to enhance productivity.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a dispatch or logistics role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage the end-to-end dispatch process.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to product handling and storage.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in the perfume or FMCG industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and dispatch software.
- Competitive salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs45,000 per month.
