Dispatcher

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive US Truck Dispatcher to oversee and manage truck operations within the US market. The ideal candidate will coordinate effectively with drivers, brokers, and shippers to ensure seamless freight movement while negotiating competitive rates and securing profitable loads. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple operational tasks, and a thorough understanding of the US trucking industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch and manage trucks operating across the US market, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate daily with drivers, brokers, and shippers to maintain smooth communication and operations.
- Negotiate freight rates with brokers to secure profitable and consistent loads.
- Utilize load boards such as DAT and Truckstop to search for and book suitable freight.
- Plan efficient routes and monitor driver progress throughout their trips to optimize performance.
- Handle operational issues including check calls, tracking, detention, layover, and TONU (Truck Ordered Not Used).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loads, rates, and driver activities.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with brokers and customers to support ongoing business growth.
- Ensure all dispatch activities comply with company policies and US industry regulations.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a US Truck Dispatcher.
- Strong knowledge of the US trucking and freight industry, including regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet daily targets.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work US time zones and night shifts as required.
