Imran Idrees Teaching Hospital, a well-established healthcare facility in Sialkot committed to providing exceptional patient care, is looking to hire a reliable and qualified Dispenser for its inpatient ward team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, working closely with clinical and pharmacy staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. This role demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications to inpatients according to ward requirements.
- Work closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure correct medication administration.
- Maintain precise records of medication usage and stock levels within the wards.
- Monitor expiry dates of medications and ensure all pharmaceuticals are stored safely in line with hospital policies.
- Assist in managing ward drug inventories and participate in regular audits.
- Promptly report any discrepancies, adverse drug reactions, or stock shortages to the Pharmacy Department.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Dispenser from a recognized institute.
- Valid registration with the Punjab Medical Facility.
- Strong understanding of hospital pharmacy protocols and patient safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
