The District Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of ITA-supported and operated schools within the Chiniot district. This position involves coordinating education activities, including those related to PEF/PEIMA programs, and acting as the primary liaison between school teams, community stakeholders, government education authorities, and ITA’s regional and central offices. The coordinator ensures the effective delivery of programs, maintains quality standards, facilitates timely reporting, and addresses operational challenges to support the smooth functioning of education initiatives in the district.

Key Responsibilities

Program Implementation and School Oversight:
The coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of ITA-supported schools and assigned education programs, including PEF/PEIMA activities. Regular school visits are essential to assess teaching quality, student participation, teacher attendance, infrastructure, and overall program progress. The role requires identifying gaps and ensuring corrective measures are implemented on time, while supporting district-level activities such as trainings and enrollment drives as directed by the Regional Manager or Program Team.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Data, and Documentation:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date school profiles, including teacher attendance, student enrollment, and infrastructure data, is a key responsibility. The coordinator will ensure timely updates of student and teacher information in designated systems like SIS/TIS. The role involves reviewing monitoring reports to guarantee completeness and accuracy before submission.

Team Coordination and Support:
Providing daily guidance and support to Field Officers, Cluster Coordinators, teachers, and other staff members is critical. The coordinator will conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and agree on action plans. Monitoring team performance and attendance, escalating concerns when necessary, and recommending capacity-building initiatives are part of the role.

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:
The coordinator will maintain strong working relationships with school management, Parent/School Management Committees, district education authorities, PEF/PEIMA officials, community representatives, and other stakeholders. Facilitating visits from external monitoring bodies and government officials, acting as a liaison to resolve operational issues, and organizing community engagement activities such as SMC meetings, awareness campaigns, and training workshops are essential duties. Coordination with government departments and partners to ensure smooth school operations is also required.

Reporting and Accountability:
Timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports to the Regional Manager or Program Team are mandatory. The coordinator will keep organized records of school visits, monitoring reports, meetings, and follow-up actions. Documenting good practices, success stories, and field-level innovations to share with the relevant teams is also part of the role.

Candidates must demonstrate good report-writing, documentation, and data management skills. Professional interaction with school teams, communities, government officials, and partner organizations is expected. Proficiency in MS Office and digital data/reporting systems is required. The role demands strong problem-solving abilities, accountability, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
