We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Document Controller based in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing company documents to ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to authorized personnel. This role involves maintaining document registers, tracking revisions, archiving records, and supporting project documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Document Controller will coordinate with various departments to collect, verify, and distribute documentation, while clearly communicating document status, updates, and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain structured filing systems for all company documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Track document revisions, approvals, and maintain version control for project-specific records.
- Archive and retrieve physical and digital records in line with retention policies and regulatory standards.
- Support project teams by organizing and providing necessary documentation promptly.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to collect, verify, and distribute documentation efficiently.
- Communicate effectively regarding document status, updates, and compliance requirements to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and quality standards in all documentation processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in document management and documentation practices, with the ability to maintain organized filing systems.
- Experience in handling project documentation, including version tracking and approvals.
- Strong knowledge of records management, including archiving, retention, and retrieval of both physical and digital documents.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams and ensure timely sharing of information.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing, updating, and filing documents.
- Proficiency with document management software and standard office productivity tools such as MS Office and PDF utilities.
- Ability to work methodically under time constraints while following established procedures and quality standards.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
