Recovery Officer

Domination Heights is seeking a diligent and motivated Recovery Officer to manage the debt recovery process with a focus on maintaining customer relationships while ensuring timely recovery of dues. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and negotiation skills combined with a thorough understanding of debt collection compliance. This position requires the ability to effectively follow up on payments and reconcile accounts while meeting monthly recovery targets. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the Recovery Officer plays a critical part in driving the financial health of the organization by executing collection strategies in line with company policies. The Recovery Officer will be responsible for engaging with customers professionally to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding debts. This includes making field visits when necessary, maintaining clear records, and collaborating with internal systems to ensure payments are accurately tracked. Candidates should have basic computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, to maintain detailed reports and monitor recovery progress. Prior experience in debt collection or recovery enhances the candidate's suitability for the role, but a strong commitment to target achievement and customer handling is essential.
Responsibilities

Conduct debt recovery activities with a focus on meeting or exceeding monthly recovery targets.
Engage directly with customers to negotiate repayment plans in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
Ensure full compliance with debt collection rules and regulations throughout all recovery processes.
Perform follow-ups and reconciliations on payments received to maintain accurate financial records.
Maintain comprehensive documentation related to all recovery cases and customer interactions.
Utilize computer skills to prepare reports, track payment statuses, and analyze recovery data, primarily using MS Excel.
Coordinate with the internal finance team to update account statuses and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare for and carry out field visits to customers when required in order to facilitate recovery procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with integrity.
Continuously build expertise on company policies pertinent to the recovery function and debt management.
Identify and escalate potential recovery issues or disputes to appropriate management in a timely manner.
Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, and a strong commitment to achieving assigned targets and deadlines.
