PointofIT Pvt Ltd, a dynamic technology company based in Islamabad, is looking for a talented .NET Developer to join its remote team. This full-time role requires working hours aligned with the Australian time zone (3:00 AM – 12:00 PM PKT), so candidates must be comfortable with this schedule. The position involves designing and developing scalable web applications using .NET technologies for clients worldwide. This opportunity is open to candidates based in Pakistan who have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in .NET development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable web applications using .NET technologies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that meet client requirements. Write clean, efficient, and testable code to ensure high-quality software delivery. Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to optimize performance and reliability. Participate actively in code reviews and maintain thorough documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential. Candidates must have at least three years of professional experience in .NET development. Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core is required. Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 is necessary. Hands-on experience with SQL Server and database design is expected. A solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services is important. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is required. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are critical. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are also necessary for effective collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is considered an advantage. Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies will be beneficial.
