We’re expanding our trading desk and looking for a Commodity & Equity Trader with expertise across the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX). What You’ll Do
Market Analysis — Monitor equity and commodity markets, global macro trends, and economic indicators to identify profitable trades.
Trading Execution — Buy/sell equities on PSX and commodity contracts on PMEX with disciplined execution and optimal cost management.
Portfolio & Risk Management — Track exposure, manage margins, set stop-loss levels, and adjust positions to control volatility.
Strategy Development — Design and test trading strategies combining technical and fundamental analysis.
Research & Insights — Generate daily/weekly market insights, trade rationales, and risk commentary for the team.
Technology-Driven Trading — Leverage data analytics, dashboards, and trading tools to gain a competitive edge.
Who You Are
Knowledge of PSX order types, market depth, and settlement systems.
Understanding of PMEX commodities (gold, silver, crude oil, agri) and margin rules.
Strong quantitative & analytical abilities; proficiency with Excel (Python / R a plus).
Quick decision-maker with a disciplined risk mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related fields preferred.
1–3+ years of experience in trading or capital markets ideal; talented self-learners welcome.
