Assistant Manager Accounts

Dr. Haris Clothing Brand, a growing commodities textile business situated in the heart of the business district, seeks an Assistant Manager Accounts to oversee and manage the company's financial operations. This role is ideal for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with at least four years of accounting experience who wants to take full ownership of end-to-end accounting processes. The Assistant Manager Accounts will lead a team of four persons and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing the use of customized ERP accounting software. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial reporting, account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and adherence to taxation requirements. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Working on-site, the Assistant Manager Accounts will contribute to the financial stability and growth of Dr. Haris Clothing Brand by managing all aspects of the accounting cycle and providing insightful financial analysis.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of four accounting personnel to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities.
Oversee the preparation and processing of sales and purchase orders to maintain efficient order management.
Create, issue, and monitor bills and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Record all daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and operational expenses, within the customized ERP accounting system.
Manage cash and bank functions, including performing bank reconciliations and handling cash deposits.
Supervise accounts payable processes by ensuring supplier invoices and payments are accurate and settled on time.
Handle accounts receivable by processing customer receipts and conducting proactive follow-ups on outstanding balances.
Prepare month-end financial reports that detail the business's financial performance, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant taxation laws and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and optimize the customized ERP accounting software to ensure accuracy and efficient financial data management.
Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic business planning and operational efficiency.
Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls and procedures for safeguarding company assets.
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure financial data aligns with business operations and goals.
Facilitate audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors as required.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes and systems.
