Dr. Haris Clothing Brand is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the organization's financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The Senior Accountant leads a team of two professionals and is responsible for overseeing general ledger management, account reconciliations, and maintaining robust internal controls.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting
- Prior experience in import/export or a related trading business is strongly preferred
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or Bachelor is highly desirable
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment
- Good communication skills for coordinating across teams, banks, and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee the full general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Manage inventory accounting for commodity stocks, including valuation, write-offs, and movement tracking
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles, ensuring timely collections and payments
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and tax consultants to ensure compliance and accurate reporting
- Supervise and mentor junior accounts staff, delegating tasks and reviewing output
- Support management with cash flow planning, budget preparation, and variance analysis
