Draftsman – Farmhouses, Villas & Landscape Projects

Greenscapers is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our Design Department. The role focuses on developing detailed working drawings for a variety of projects, primarily involving farmhouses, villas, outdoor living spaces, and landscape-led environments. Unlike conventional large-scale architectural firms, our work emphasizes the integration of architecture, landscape, and outdoor spaces, including select hospitality and commercial projects where these elements harmonize.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating approved designs into clear, accurate, and execution-ready drawings. This includes preparing architectural plans, elevations, and sections, as well as detailed floor plans and layouts. The role also involves creating site plans, setting-out drawings, and landscape and hardscape working drawings. Candidates will work on details for outdoor structures such as pools, pergolas, and gazebos, along with paving, levels, steps, boundary walls, gates, and other site elements. Additional responsibilities include producing architectural construction details, enlarged plans, door and window schedules, and coordination drawings that integrate architecture, landscape, and other project components. The draftsman will also manage revisions and updates based on approved design changes and prepare complete drawing sets for execution while coordinating closely with the design and execution teams. Drawing requirements will vary depending on the project.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting, preferably with a focus on low-rise residential projects such as farmhouses, villas, and lifestyle-oriented outdoor spaces. A strong command of AutoCAD is essential, along with the ability to independently prepare plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings. A solid understanding of architectural construction, detailing, and the ability to read and interpret architectural and landscape layouts is required. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in working with dimensions, levels, materials, and site conditions, producing drawings that are practical and suitable for execution rather than purely for presentation. Attention to detail, drawing accuracy, and the ability to coordinate effectively with architects, designers, and execution teams are critical. Experience in incorporating design revisions accurately is also necessary.
