Draftsman and Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman and Quantity Surveyor to join the Construct by MW team. This role involves producing precise technical drawings and blueprints, preparing detailed bills of quantities, and conducting cost estimations to support construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure projects meet quality standards, comply with building codes, and adhere to safety regulations. Additionally, the role requires preparing comprehensive project documentation and specifications to facilitate smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software.
- Prepare and analyze bills of quantities for various construction projects.
- Conduct accurate cost estimations and budget forecasting to support project planning.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers to align project goals.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain thorough project documentation and technical specifications.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and building practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant degree or certification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in construction or drafting, though experience requirements may be flexible.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
