Draftsman ((Architect)

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman (Architect) to prepare detailed architectural drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and markups. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining organized and up-to-date drawing records while supporting the architectural team throughout various project stages. This role requires strong technical drafting skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and revise architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD according to the architect’s instructions.
- Develop working and shop drawings, incorporating comments and revisions as needed.
- Adhere to project drawing standards, including scales and layer conventions.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper revision control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site staff to resolve any drawing-related queries promptly.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma in Architectural Technology (DAE) or an equivalent qualification.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is considered an advantage.
